They asked me, “why him?”
I said, “Because it is him”
I asked myself, “why him?”
I heard me say, “Because it is him”
“He is too different. He can’t make you happy”, said my inner mind
“I don’t feel bad about being hurt by him”, I argued
“You are hopeless”, concluded my brain
“I am hoping that my dreams come true”, said my heart dreamily
“Life is not a dream. Wake up”, said a voice from within
“All my dreams would come true, if he is with me”, countered another voice
Amidst of this dilemma, I heard them ask, “why him?”
I still had the same answer, “Because it is him!”
