நவின்றேன்!

நூலகத்தை தேடினேன்

தமிழ் பேச நாடினேன்

கற்பனைகளை தூண்டத் துடித்தேன்

மறந்துபோன சொற்களை திருப்பி அழைக்க முனைந்தேன்

தேன் தமிழை சுவைக்கத் தவித்தேன்

ஆனால், மனிதன் நான்

என்னுள்ளேயே அது புதைந்திருப்பதை மறந்தேன்

கண்டறிந்ததும் மகிந்ழ்தேன்

நவின்றேன்

Yearned to talk in Tamil

Wished to recall the forgotten words

Longed to taste the honey-like Tamil

But I am a human after all

It’s all hidden within me, I forgot

But when I realized that

I felt happy!
