He was away for work and she missed him am a lot.

It seemed unusual.

May be because he had gone back to work after a week’s vacation, she concluded.

She carefully unpacked the memorabilia they had bought and thoughtfully scanned for some space in the showcase. Each item in the showcase brought back a flood of memories.

A smile creaked in her face and a blob escaped her eyes too.

Oh! She missed him a lot.

His smiles... silence... voice... presence...

She wiped the tears the off and waited for the evening...
