Li'l Girl was Gone...

S
he could not tolerate the pain anymore. The pain was injected by a realization and the retaliation bothered her heart. Heart, on the other hand, blurred her mind to accept the reality. The reality seemed surreal; so tears poured down her eyes. Her eyes continued to stare at the vacuum. Then, vacuum spread all through her body. Her body shivered. The shiver made her feel weak.  The weakness made her feel vulnerable. The vulnerability made her feel alone. Loneliness pricked her and she missed him.

Why did he love me? Why did he walk away? Why is he scared of commitment?

Unanswered questions haunted her.

She poured a glass of brandy and let the bitterness of the drink forget her bitter-sweet experiences that life threw at her.

The innocent mock-tail-loving li’l girl seemed to have lost…

And she didn’t attempt to retrieve her…

  10. I attempted to leave a comment before but it vanished in an instant! Well, I want you to know you are very talented and I enjoyed this technique of writing. It is almost like building a pyramid using a word from the previous sentence and using words as the mortar to write your piece. Very clever and good writing! Thank you so much! Nan Falkner

    1. Dear Nan Falkner,
I am really glad that you are the first and only person to notice and appreciate the new cascading form of writing style I adopted here. I thank you heartily for that...

Hoping to see you more around...

      Thanks :)
