A Walk with Small Talks!

They walked hand-in-hand. She was enthralled by the serenity and the beauty that surrounded her. She smiled within thanking heavens for bringing him, her love, into her life.

She stole a glance at him and then, she smiled as their eyes met. She felt their shoulders rubbing -against each other.

They sat in the little sit-out, and exchanged sweet nothings.

Suddenly, he slipped a solitaire studded platinum ring into her finger.

She was too shocked to respond. So, she just stared at him and let the tears roll down her cheeks; with a smile in her face.

Then he hugged her and whispered, “Happy wedding anniversary”.

PS: Big-big thanks to Rochelle and all the friends I made from her initiative… Thanks for coming up with wonderful image prompt and thanks for being a constant source of inspiration… Thanks for making my Wednesdays wonderful!!!

  9. Dear Satya,

Thanks for sharing such a sweet, uplifting story. It makes me wonder how long they've been married, not that it matters. I choose to imagine they've been married a long time and are still very much in love.

Initially, I thought of mentioning the number of years too...
Then I decided to leave it to reader's imagination.
