I Chose You

I chose you
And not any other
For what reason?
I still don’t know.
It could be the comfort
Or the sheer love
May be the sense of belongingness
Or mere understanding
May be the stupid matters we share
Or the silence that speaks
I really don’t know.
But, I do know something
I chose you
And not any other
Because I love you
Like I love me
And a little bit beyond!
