Love-Love Kindda Love

Nothing matters…
Neither the definition of our relationship
Nor what others thinks about us.

What matters is…
Love that still hold us
Together. Forever

Our hearts are connected
And we are trying our best
To retain us. To sustain.

Why would we do that?
If there was no love!
May not be a love-love kind of love

But, we are slaves of love
United by comfort.
So that we always understand the unsaid!

  6. love is a lot of work...this is seldom relayed in love stories....
three are periods of retaining/sustaining...keeping our love
at the center and not letting other forces pull it apart...

    1. I think third stage is the toughest. That's why we get to see so many heart aches and breaks....

      Thanks Brian :)

  7. Everyone has to define what they expect love to be for them. Understanding the unsaid is definitely a quality of love.

  10. "So that we always understand the unsaid!" Yes! There is this aspect to love that lasts. I was stopped for a minute by your use of the word "slave" here which has a horrible connotation in my life unlike "habit" or even "addiction."

  13. What others think certainly should not define a relationship, except if we want everything to go wrong. And you ended your poem with a great closing line.
