நீ வருவாயா?

இருள் சூழ்ந்த சிப்பிக்குள்
ஒளிந்திருக்கும் முதைப்போல
என் மனதில் உனக்கான காதலை பூட்டிவைத்திருக்கிறேன்.

அதனால்…

நெருப்பில் தெரியாமல் விழுந்து
வேகும் புழுவைப்போல
நான் தவிக்கிறேன்.

நீ மழையாய் வருவாயா?
நெருப்பை களைவாய?

பின்னர்...

கதிரவனை போல் ஒளிவீசுவாயா?
ஆயிரம் கரங்களால் என்னயும் என் காதலாயும் அணைப்பாயா?

Translation
Like a pearl hidden in the darkness of oyster,
I have hidden my love for you in my heart.

Therefore…

Like an insect fallen unknowingly in the fire,
I am suffering.

Will you come as rain?
And, quench the fire?

Then…

Will you shimmer like the Sun?
Will you embrace me and my love with thousand hands?

      I can write in Tamil but cannot do that in laptop. I write in Tamil with English spelling and the laptop converts that into Tamil words. Really happy to see you write Tamil poems. Would like to see more of that.

      I do the same. Although I can write, for posting I use a software. Working on tamil poems... more will follow soon!!!
