Heavenly Life!

G
rowing up together as children… Being each other’s first crush and then first love… Playing and arguing... Sleeping on each other’s shoulders…. I always thought that we have known each other forever!

But, that trip was different – the first after marriage. We opted for a nice misty place for our honeymoon; supposedly romantic.

To add an adventurous streak, we decided to do trekking. With the cold breeze caressing us, gentle sunlight kissing us, we walked. His strong hands were holding mine and our shoulders were kissing each other.

As we walked, I realized that the pathway could be rough sometimes.
But, under his shadow, life looked heaven!

PS: Thanks Rochelle for this wonderful image prompt!

  12. A rare lifelong love affair. I hope she's cool with it when life gets back to normal and babies arrive. At least she'll have the memory of the honeymoon.

Nice little fantasy, Satya. Pretty language.

    All my best,
    Marie Gail
