Beads of Tears

Beads of tears
Escaped her eyes
Pain was in her heart
She didn’t know how to restart
She stared at the velvety sky above
An unknown fear started to grow
A soothing touch is all she wanted
But from whom; she felt abandoned
That was when heavens tore
And cried along to console
As the chill liquid touched
She smiled as if tickled
The liquid then kissed her
Embraced her
And drenched her
Beads of tears
Escaped her eyes
Happiness filled in her heart

As a part of One single Impression

  7. A poem about tears shaped like a teardrop just as it's starting to land. I like how it calls up the raindrops as teardrops of empathy poured out from the heavens to heal you. This is a great poem that will resonate with many people.
