Good Things

Sometimes, good things just happen and we feel blessed. We might also wonder if we are worth it. But life moves on ignoring such uncertainties and absurd doubts that mind put across.

During such good times, we smile. We close and we think about those people who tolerated us during our lows.

Those days when our mood was bad due to no specific reason... Those times we blabbered... When we cried our hearts and eyes out... When they listened to our plight with love and embraced us with their silence...

Ouch! And we yelled at them saying that they are acting like a dumb... that they are not offering any solutions... that they are not understanding... that they don’t care for us... Then we would have withdrawn ourselves from them... we would have avoided them... we would have screamed at them...

But they would have continued to hold us with love and embrace with silence...

When success succumbs, the world around also succumbs. But our brittle heart would wearily search for those rare people who stood by us when we were going mad... when life was driving us crazy...

Many people would pose with fake smile and try to be a part of our newfound success. We also smile with them... at them!

After all... anything can be faked. Love and care is no exception. But everything cannot be loved. Everyone cannot be loved.

Suddenly, an uneasy feeling would creep within. Will they leave us? Will they think that I have changed? Insecurity conquers and the relationship goes through another tough time.

Finally, those few relationships that sustain such a test evolve as the true love – only love. In such a love, words or presence are of no importance. It is the mere feeling of love that matters. And miraculously such a love would linger in the air around us... it would embrace us and lead us towards bliss!!!
