Love is a strange emotion. It can
give us the unbound happiness and belongingness. It can also hurt us beyond
tolerable limits and lead us towards estrangement.
As they say, time and tide waits
for none. Life moves on. But, the ache that unrequited love gives is humongous.
More so when the same was reciprocated once.
Sometimes, I fail to understand
why we fall in love at all. And, how time drinks away that love drop by drop is
still a mystery.
Those love that survives the
test of time are rare.
If we are meant to part, why do
we meet?
If we are supposed to forget,
why do we remember?
Love, my boy, is a strange
emotion.
Love isn't a strange emotion. Its the purest one...but in this crazy masked world, purity is looked with suspicion. Love doesn't have to stand the test of time. If it gave purpose to you even for the limited time it touched you, that is purpose enough.

I agree with you Red. But, what I fail tp understand is why "love" is never a reason and why it is always so many other selfish ones.

DeleteI can never understand these complex emotions.. You get tangled up in the web and when you realise this.. Its too late! But then again i do feel that there is nothing better than being in love.. And knowing that you are loved back.. Even if it is for a limited time! :)
