தீர்மானித்தேன்

உறவைத் தேடி அலைந்தேன்
உரியவனைக் கண்டதும்
உயிரைக் கொடுக்க துணிந்தேன்

 “உற்றவள் நீ அல்ல”, என்று சொன்னாய்
உறவே இல்லையேனும் உறவாட தீர்மானித்தேன்!

Translation
(I don’t know if I have done fair justice while translating)

I was searching for love
When I found it
I decided to give my life

“I don’t love you”, you said

So, I decided to love you always; although unrequited!

    and may be that is the true definition of love without expectations, love that is based on its true feelings and nothing else.

    "உறவாட” has much more deeper meaning. ஆகவே இது பைத்தியக்காரத்தனம் (Therefore, this is foolishness).

      "உறவாட” has a greater meaning as you said and hence I used it... Because relationship can be of different forms and this is for all who think that relationship means only of romantic one and if that doesn't work, we have to break up & move away!
