Mum's bedtime story
Dear Lord Krishna steals butter
Inspired, I steal too
Inspired, I steal too
Like Yashodha in story
Ah! Mumma smile too
Ah! Mumma smile too
She draws me close and kisses
I still remember
I still remember
PS: The moment I saw this prompt...
My mind recalled this incident. I should have been two years old. I don’t know.
But strangely, I still remember that day... my mother’s smile and her loving
kiss... Ah! Why I grew up, I wonder!
Awww I thought of Krishna too but couldn't put words to it. Very well done!
ReplyDeleteHa! Butter reminds most of us of Lord Krishna...

Deletethat would make our life a sweet song!
Thanks a lot :)
Your cascading haiku falls so effortlessly and rhythmically just like Jog Falls. Grow up , one has to but for a mother a child is always a child.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Kalpana :)
