Goofy Goooh....!!!

T
ears never ceased to roll down his cheeks as he sat gazing at the garden. His eyes, though tiered, was searching someone; they shone with expectations and eagerness.

His worried mother, drew the five years old closer and caressed his hair.  Then, her husband returned after work. The gloominess at home because of their child’s grief was worrying them.

He took their son and handed over an envelope. It held a framed photograph of Goofy, their pet dog, who died because of a mysterious fever. He kept it close to his heart and cuddled between his parents; tears in eyes and smile in lips.

  1. Dear Loco,

It's hard on a child, that first experience with death. Pets are like family. Nice one.

  2. Sad story. My first "pets" were goldfish, so it wasn't so hard when they died. I buried them in the garden and had great tomatoes!!

In the first line, I think you mean "tired" for his eyes. Happy New Year!
