Well, more than myself
Destiny - I trust in you
Beyond everything!

  1. I beg to disagree. If everything is predetermined course of events beyond human control (Destiny), then why we even try? Whatever happens, happens, and we can’t do anything about it.

  2. I agree with SG's disagreement ... in a way ... cuz I am constantly trying to chance destiny ... sometime I succeed ... sometimes not ... not that slows me down ... no, sirry ... always fighting destiny to the bitter end ... you? ... Love, cat.

    1. I think success or failure to win over destiny is an illusion... And only destiny/fate is real!

  3. Guess you are a Paul Coelho and his fantasy about destiny .

However if all is predetermined and destined why even move a finger? If it has to it will.

    1. If you should move the finger or not... that is also pre-determined and planned for you - I believe :)

  4. I do think we have to work to attain our destiny. If we only sit on our behind, we attain nothing.

  5. This reminds me of the song

    Que Sera, Sera,
    Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
    Que Sera, Sera
    What will be, will be.

People say that we can change destiny but even then destiny or fate or what will be, will be.

All of us have a destiny whether we like it or not.

    Best wishes

  8. I guess you're referring to faith in a way.. if we have a strong faith that destiny shall not deceive us - then we are good to go :)

  9. i think because the universe is in constant tumult and chaos, destiny is where one of cognitive consciousness ends up but never predetermined. this debate of 'determinism', William James, is a valid discourse issue but i disdain that common recent cliche statement...'it is what it is'.

  11. Not quite sure. To believe that whatever happens is destiny and not work toward a dream with self belief seems strange.

  12. Your poem has sparked an interesting discussion. I believe in everything - that there is a general over-arching design, with multi possibilities, for our lives and that, under that, we are free to make our own choices. If that makes any sense. LOL. Am having trouble identifying myself on my daughter's computer - this is Sherry.

  17. I believe our destiny is what we make of it. So I guess I have to trust myself a bit. Or just make good choices
